I had friends who lived in the Texas hill country – way in the country, in a lovely old house with trees and rocks and a stream. One day, the “he” of the house and one of his friends took the old pickup down to the stream. They parked it on an incline, with the windows open.
Pretty soon, here came the old tomcat, named shittykitty, because he was. He was mean and cantankerous but he never left – guess he knew he needed those folks he aggravated so. Anyhow, old sk jumped into that truck through the open window, hit the gear lever, put the car in neutral and drove it right down that hill into a tree, just before it would have hit the water. He clutched the steering wheel the whole time.
And then he jumped out of the truck and ran for his life when it stopped.I’d completely forgotten until I saw your photo!
Any signs of spring yet? It’s turning lovely here – so nice! Hope you get some ice melt soon!

Oh, my golly. This reminds me of a true story.
