Here is a bit of true silliness to take our minds off of the goings on of the world: Pop away!
And, here is another part of the site in which you can punch out politicians, celebrities and “wankers.” (The site is in the UK.) This is what I did to George Bush…
Ahhhh…. That feels better…
Oh, I had a good laugh today! I found Margaret and Helen through More Coffee Please. When I’m 83 years old I hope I’m writing posts like this! Oooo, I love the internet.
With all the bad economic news, the war in Afghanistan, satellites crashing over Siberia, etc., I might think the world was coming to an end if it wasn’t for something like this:
As it says in the article, it is extremely rare to get so close to a Koala. She was just sooo spent. Poor thing. But, now, she has a boyfriend! The story is here. And, here is the video..
And, it is not Winter in Australia.

Ooohhh, the thought of making my own fresh butter, with colourful (summer-y) spices or vegetables, just seems so comforting in this big deep freeze of a winter.
The Dutch Girl writes of homemade butter: “The flavor is so light, delicate and fresh (so unlike anything store bought) I promise you’ll be hooked after just one bite.” “Light” is a word I can use right now! Winter feels so dark and heavy this year.
Apparently, the recipe is very easy—mostly just heavy cream and a food processor. Yum! Toast me some sourdough, pleeeeeeze…

Because I needed a smile today and it’s not winter at the storm drain. There are more Rockys here.
OK. I have a Fine Arts degree. And, I am keeping mum with regards to these two pieces. I suppose one of my category choices might give me away.

Then, we have “Cloaca” visiting in Montreal. “Cloaca” comes to us from Belgian artist Wim Delvoye and “is a reflection on human identity and the creative process, according to its creator…” “Cloaca” is a sculpture that farts and poops. It’s presence in Montreal is pushing some Canadian buttons as to why the Canadian government is spending tax dollars on ____. This after Steven Harper declared, back in September, that “Ordinary folks don’t care about the arts” which was followed by a pretty big uproar across the country to the contrary. I’d say “Cloaca’s” timing isn’t the greatest.
Those Russian ladies are really pretty though.
